damn, I know I’m several years to late… But I’m in love.
Just got a hold on this awesome anime today. And spent my free day watching eleven episodes. I was already taken away by Cowboy Bebop but Samurai Champloo tops it.
It’s exactly the kind of anime I can die for. It has very good artwork. A pretty distinctive style, that levels this show above others. A lot of people may not agree with me since it’s not the classical Kenshi-Emo Samurai Anime Show - and as its stated in the beginning: It’s not historical correct. But who cares if the story is good. I will not write a review here, since I’m pretty sure most people know the show and it’s only me who’s late … again. But if you don’t - watch it.
(and of course I had to fall for Jin - long black hair … ‘nough said.)
And I finally had the chance to watch Baccano! - another show I really got into. Mafia, Alchemy … just aww. And Luck Gandor voiced by one of my all time favorite voice actors.
Jeez, I’m catching up with so much stuff atm.
Yeah, I’m a nerd. I have to be, if I’m getting all excited about the new razorblade mouse, I made myself as Christmas present… I have to be a nerd, if I have to chose between a new cpu for my computer and those absolutely adorable shoes (black, fine Italian leather). And I go for the cpu.
Anyways, next big shopping spree for shoes will be in spring. If my damn PC allows. Well, I have to upgrade the stupid thing w/ some more RAM. 4 GB is the goal. And a new graphic card is also necessary. Speaking of the frigging PC …it runs smoothly again (and thanks so much to all the people who offered me help with the lost mp3’s ♥) but it will take me some time to catch up w/ all the missed mails…
Ehm, yeah - PC crashed about 3 weeks ago. Big time shit. I had to go through all the routines including formatting my hdd.
This explains somewhat the long time of silence.
Finally my wordpress dashboard looks again like it’s supposed to look. I had some serious issues with the php-scripts and way to much to do the last weeks to fix it.
Although I try to keep the mia-stories of lost socks to my livejournal, recent updates about my life can be found there.
I thought about friend-locking some posts … but what the fu**?
Despite all the personal crap - finally installed a phpbb.
So far, Noctifer and me are using it only to collect ideas for the ongoing Reno/Rufus/Tseng-Twilight arc
So Noctifer and me came up with this really stupid idea to write a shortRufus/Tseng Story.
After the first basic clean up we have more than 10,000 words and are in the middle of the second chapter.
But writing bastard!Rufus and bastard!Tseng is way to much fun.
And a pretty good distraction from rl!-Shit. Worked on so much css and html that I had no time/no nerve to make a new layout for my lj or ij. Which has high priority on my private to-do list for months.
But I was so braindead the last week that I managed to trash a completely working script, because I believed (I really believed) I had already copy/pasted the changed .div class into the correct css.
Damn, you can screw up PHP quiet easy.
As long as you believe you’re right and PHP is wrong.
I was so damn lazy, that I have about six drafts of comic-, manga-, anime-, and movie-recommendations that all need to be finished.
Only thing I managed in my free time was to open Photoshop and make some Icons.

I love this one, although it’s completely crack (and German)
Arki just published her first hair for poser. And despite a long discussion about traditional asian hair-styles I think she did some awesome work.
Okay, I have to make this statement, since it’s inspired by (or better said: made for) the poser-version of Tina’s Shadowrun-rpg-char ‘Renee’
A character which is quite important for me, since I was the gamemaster who messed her up. ^^
The hair comes with tons of options and is really fun to play with.
Once my muse kicks the door back in I’m sure I’ll use it for some renders.
