Over the last week this was discussed on lots of message boards. Youka Nitta obviously traced a lot of her images, stating that she wasn’t aware of any copyright infringements.
I really don’t want to start a discussion about copyright here - just pointing to the reply of the Diesel Company.
The last sentence in the blog post just made my day:
Tags: copyright infringements, diesel company, Graphics, Just and whatever, NittaNitta, don’t worry, we’re not that kind of brand, we consider this a tribute, only the greatest are copied, right? But honestly, our chick is hotter than yours!
